
Sara Carlton
Professional Women’s Health Physiotherapist
Sara has almost 20 years experience as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist and has worked in a wide range of areas to include chronic pain, rheumatology, sports injuries and orthopaedics.
In 2012 Sara moved to Hong Kong to work in private practice. Her latter 10 years have been focused more on women’s health to include sacroiliac joint dysfunction, ante and post-natal care, which led to her completing her Women’s health training in Australia.
Sara moved back to Oxford in 2019 to work with Nuffield Health. Her work includes pelvic floor rehabilitation for bladder and bowel dysfunction, incontinence, prolapse, as well as pelvic pain, endometriosis and vulvodynia. Sara has also been able to work alongside specialist consultants and surgeons for patients recovering from surgery.
Sara is a qualified APPI Pilates Class instructor and has recently trained in Ante and post-natal Pilates, Pilates for Menopause and pelvic floor.
Sara has two young children and enjoys spending time with them. She is also a keen runner and enjoys playing golf and skiing when time allows.
