Service Description
Aqua Fit is ideal for those who enjoy exercising in water while still gaining a strong, effective workout. Aqua Fit uses the unique properties of water—buoyancy, resistance, viscosity and hydrostatic pressure—to deliver a high-intensity, low-impact session. The water supports body weight while providing 360-degree resistance, helping to strengthen muscles, improve cardiovascular fitness, and increase circulation, all while reducing strain on the joints. After class, you can expect a true total-body workout—worked, fatigued muscles without the impact pain often associated with weight-bearing exercise on land. The exercise level is moderate. For safety reasons, all new participants must have a discussion/ meet Jennifer prior to booking to complete a risk assessment. This class is for fitness and flexibility- not acute rehabilitation. Participants must be able to get on and off the pool floor independently (down steps without a handrail). Aqua shoes are required when poolside.
